Nigerian National Action Plan on Youth, Peace and Security
The Nigerian National Action Plan (NAP) on Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) was launched in Abuja on the 1st of November, 2021 by the Honorable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, and the Honorable Minister of Women Affairs to bring attention to and address the peace and security challenges of the youth. The Centre for Sustainable Development and Education (CSDEA) collaborated with the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution – Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other stakeholders over the last five years to develop the YPS NAP after consultations with the youth and communities across the country.
